Caitlin studied Motor Behavior in a master’s program at Louisiana State University. In her time at LSU she was responsible for running data collections for research in the biomechanics laboratory. She acquired a wide range of knowledge in the physics of human movement as well as neurological and psychological aspects of motor control and motor learning. It was during her time in Baton Rouge that she discovered a profound love of rock climbing. She has found that climbing was a culmination of her studies in exercise science and mechanical function of the human body.

She graduated with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Southern California in May 2023. While training at USC she was fortunate enough to study pelvic health in multiple clinical rotations. She began to draw parallels between my exercise hobbies and their effects on pelvic health and is excited to explore how we can use different modes of exercise to improve our pelvic health.

She swam competitively from kindergarten through college. She is now an avid backpacker, rock climber, and is building a growing knowledge of Muay Thai kickboxing.

Dr. Emily Reul, PT, DPT is a licensed physical therapist. She grew up in Southern California and moved to Carrollton, GA to study Biology at the University of West Georgia. She earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Nova Southeastern University in Tampa, FL. She has worked as a physical therapist in various settings before founding Wings Physiotherapy.

She played volleyball for 11 years, including 4 years at the University of West Georgia. To stay active, she now enjoys running. Her history in athletics has helped her understand first-hand the stress of both orthopedic injuries that stop you from being able to do what you love. As a child, she suffered from nocturnal enuresis (bed wetting) until the 6th grade, along with urinary frequency during the day. It was embarrassing to be wetting the bed as a middle schooler and was frequently getting detention in school for asking to go to the bathroom multiple times throughout the day. These have helped her develop a passion to help her patients live active, fulfilling lives!
